The Summer of Death

 

Edward III believed that England was chosen by God. The victories at Sluys and Crécy seemed to indicate that he was right. God had chosen England to rise over France. So, when Yersinia Pestis tore through the heart of France, he was unconcerned. In this episode though, his belief in God’s protection crumbles as the Black Death ravages England.
