The End of the Plantagenets

All good things must come to an end. The Plantagenet dynasty has ruled England since 1154 and has provided England with some of its most notable warrior-kings, men such as Edward I, Edward III, and, of course, Richard the Lionheart. However, the Plantagenet dynasty has also not been without its troubles. Edward II and Henry III ruled during periods of extreme unrest and I’m not even going to mention the historic disaster that was King John. Yet, through it all, the Plantagenet’s survived. But now with Richard II, the dynasty comes to a final crushing end.
