Episode 135: The Ottomans

Last time, we caught up with what remains of the once-mighty Byzantine Empire. Today we need to bring a new player onto our board, so enter stage left, the Ottomans. The Ottomans (not the Turks, that was a western derogatory term that they did not use) are a people we have mentioned before, but only in passing. Now, they enter our story and are about to play a very major role.
