It is one thing to just tell the kids that the Electoral College can be unfair. But I always find it is better to show them through an activity. This is an old-school coloring activity. No technology needed. The students get four scenarios and have to solve the Electoral puzzle. Depending on how much time you want to devote to the discussions this one can take hours or just one class.
